Comments (0) It was just reported at SWWB that the Koch Media’s excellent Sergio Sollima Italo Western DVD Box is now sold out. I guess meaning all the remaining boxes are now at various stores and once the stocks are out there won’t be new ones coming in.
So if you were thinking of ordering the box now would be a good time to do it. Not sure if Amazon.de
Koch Media will be releasing four new spaghetti western DVDs 19th of October and these are now available for pre-order from Amazon.de. The releases are El Chuncho, quien sabe? / A Bullet for the General, Arizona si scatenò… e li fece fuori tutti / Arizona Colt Returns, Yankee and a spaghetti western documentary Denn sie kennen kein Erbarmen – Der Italowestern.
All the films should have either English audio or subtitles even though the subtitles won’t be mentioned in the cases (and maybe not even in the menus). Unfortunately I can’t remember if the documentary will have subtitles, but I’d say it’s likely.
The ‘A Bullet for the General’ disc is supposed to be longer than any previous DVD release of the film, and it is possible it will also include the alternate (and shorter) US English dub that hasn’t been available on DVD before.
