No contest here really, the Surf Video disc is much better, and the WE disc suffers from interlacing as well.
Surf Video is slightly cropped at the bottom while WE loses some image at the sides.

There are some major color differences in some scenes between the discs, especially on the first maybe 20 minutes or so. Don’t know how the movie is supposed to look but the Surf Video disc looks a bit colorless in those scenes.
