Evidis is cropped from the sides while the NEW disc looses image either from bottomor top depending on the scene. Based on the screenshots neither disc looks good.

UPDATE: The Japanese disc by Cinefil Imagica is a huge improvement in image quality and in my eyes the only possibility you should consider if the film interests you. There is some edge enhancement and the disc is unfortunately interlaced (what seems to be the case with all Japanese discs I have come across) but the other discs are pure shit in comparison. The Imagica disc shows some more image at the sides but seems to lose a bit at the bottom compared to the NEW disc.
